School Key Stage Results 2016

Once again, we are very proud of the efforts and achievements of all of our children and especially of the Year 2 and Year 6 children who all did their very best in their Statutory Assessment Tests (SATs). You will recall that there was much in the local and national press about how difficult this year’s Reading, Grammar and Maths tests were going to be and also how high the standards were for the children to achieve an ‘expected’ result.

In the tests our children performed extremely well.

In KS1, achieving significantly better than both Devon and nationally in all subjects.

In KS2, achieving significantly better than both Devon and nationally in all subjects, except maths, where they were just below,  (3 children missing the pass mark by 1-2 points.) In addition I am pleased to report that our school met the Government’s floor targets for progress from KS1.

We are very proud of all our children and how hard they worked.
