Every Mind Matters!

Sorry - blogging is not my strong point so I don't post very often!

I received an email this morning with this link in it:  "Every Mind Matters"  - I took a quick peek and it looks pretty good.

Why not have a look too?

Stay safe, Mrs Beer

Class 3 have been very busy during lockdown!

It has been so lovely seeing and hearing about all the things you’ve been up to from baking, to climbing trees, to rowing, making pyramids, sewing cushions, gardening, writing poems, drawing, restoring tractors, making dens, participating in live lessons, competing in times table band battles and of course doing lots of super work. Keep up the good work and I can’t wait to get back to normal and have you all back at school! Keep being kind, helpful and stay safe everyone!

What are you doing to make Easter Special?

This Easter is going to be a bit different to other years - we all need to stay at home, so we won't be visiting family or friends.

Thank you to Finley's mum for allowing us to share some photos of how he has been keeping himself busy!

Are you doing something special to celebrate Easter?

  • Decorating eggs
  • Easter egg hunt in the house or garden
  • Drawing / colouring in an Easter scene or egg
  • Doing some special baking or helping to cook a special meal
  • Colouring an extra special rainbow to show support for those special people who are having to work extra hard at the moment

Some cheer during the COVID-19 closure

We hope you're all OK!

Those who are eligible for Free School Meals - make sure you check your ParentMail emails as vouchers have been emailed to you for the 2 week Easter break.  We have asked the shops to accept evidence from your phone, so you won't need to print them this time.

The staff decided to put together a little film to make you all smile - it's on the FaceBook page for Monkleigh Pre-school, but is also on YouTube.  Hope you enjoy it!

Don't forget - you can keep in touch with us via Class Dojo.
