NJC grade C scale 5 - £12.85 per hour
(scales 5-7 £12.85 to £13.26)

Monkleigh Primary school is looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic, caring person who has the drive and passion to be involved in our outstanding FSU.
We are looking for an Early Years TA Level 3 to work Monday – Wednesday 8:50am-3.30pm and Thurs – Fri 8:50am -12, starting Feb 2025
Our FSU currently caters for children aged between 2 years and five years. Duties will include:
Working with groups of children as directed by the class teachers – 2-5-year olds.
Taking responsibility, with the rest of the FSU team, for the development, wellbeing and progress of all children in FSU.
Providing support with personal care and developing independence. Supporting children with additional and SEND needs.
Working with the FSU team to take initiative with and support Spotlight Children.
Working from planning as directed by class teachers - resourcing group sessions and ensuring the provision is set up as outlined on the plan.
You will have sound knowledge of the EYFS and experience of working in an early year setting and be qualified up to Level 3.
At times you may be asked to support in other classes, we are a flexible team who at times support elsewhere in the school.
You will be an enthusiastic team member with a passion for working with children, have a positive attitude and work well as part of a team and work within agreed framework of the school and other professional bodies. In addition, you will need to be flexible and creative, with the commitment to provide first class education for our youngest pupils. Ideally you will have experience of working with pupils with SEND.
