DEVON COUNTY SHOW – FRIDAY 22nd May

Mr Stevens and Mrs Wilson are taking the Year 6 children for a FUN day out to the Devon County Show on Friday the 22nd May. We will be taking part in set activities at the event and there will also be the opportunity to have some free time to look around.

The children will need a packed lunch and plenty of drink. They will need to wear their school PE kit to include their red hoodie and appropriate clothing for the weather. Ie: a coat if raining, a sun hat and sun cream if the weather is good. A watch would be VERY useful and a backpack to hold all this stuff is advised.

Spending money would be useful – (any money will remain the responsibility of your child) – there are usually ‘freebies’ available, but there are things to buy, such as ice creams and craft type stalls. We will also allow them a short time in the fairground, which money will be needed if they want to go on things.

The children will travel by minibus. We leave school at 7.30 a.m. prompt and we will return to school at approx 4.30pm. We will use Dojo to notify you if we are running late due to traffic. WE WILL NOT BE BACK IN TIME FOR SCHOOL BUSES.
